General Info + Links:

General FAQ - FAQ with lots of good info, read first.

Original Link Forum Post - post new Links to be added here, and look over some that may not have been added yet.

How to make a Meggy Cozy

MeggyCade Jr, a project to make Meggy into a tabletop arcade game.

How to connect two Meggies for dual game play

Games:

Revival Studios - Developer of various Meggy Jr games

Arm-E - A twist on space invaders, with robotic arm goodness. Also includes a rudimentary actor and sound framework to make development a little simpler.

Sapper - Mine sweeping game

Ball_Buster - Ping Pong and avoid type game

Meggy Says - A nice version of Simon says for the Meggy.

Space Invaders - A great game of space invaders(Original Forum Post)(Google Code Download)

Flippin Bits site - lots of good games and a simulator to boot

Super Monkey Kong - Barrels upon barrels of Donkey Kong mayhem! (Google Code Download)

Dot - Capture the sun and avoid getting rained on! (more info at the Make post)

Begemmed - Not feature-complete yet: there's no sound, it doesn't prevent illegal moves, and it doesn't check to see when there are no moves left and the game's over. But it is playable, so I thought I'd throw it out there for people to play with.

Peg Solitare - Centuries old game you will surely recognize. Source provided so you can easily change the board from English to European.

Attack v3 - NOTE: this is NOT the new game that is included with the v1.4 library! Based on the original Attack of the Cherry Tomatoes and enhanced by Emo Mosley. Included features: score keeping, scrolling text, spare ships, laser and spare ship indicators, some more sounds. (Project page)

Google Code project site - This is the main repository; Many other games including:

  • Ball Buster
  • Gem Keeper
  • Fireman Fireman
  • Plasma - although not technically a game, it is fun. (There is a secret version of Fireman Fireman that uses Plasma as a background, but you have to be really special to have it.)
  • MeggyChip a game for two Meggies

Included with the Meggy Jr Library (v 1.4) (Available here):

Non-game applications:

mjsim Simulator for AVR assembly code and emulator for the MeggyJr

Backup & Restore EEPROM - A simple way to save the contents of the EEPROM on your computer and load them back in later
