The Eggbot extension routinely saves a modest amount of control data in your Inkscape drawing files.  This information is largely invisible to you and is definitely benign.  You will have to go out of your way to view it.  However, before sharing your drawing files -- especially with other Eggbot users -- please consider removing that control data from your drawings.  Removing it is very simple:

The Eggbot Control extension stores a modest amount of control data in your Inkscape drawing files. This information is normally invisible to you and should be considered benign. However, before sharing your drawing files -- especially with other Eggbot users -- you may want to consider removing that control data from your drawings. Removing it is straightforward, using the "manual" tab of EggBot Control. Select the Manual tab, select "Strip plotter data from file" from the drop-down list, and then click Apply.
