Hi and thanks for your advice to a newbie and complete novice. I am trying to simply put two text characters on a golf ball. When I hit Apply, I get the following: "Warning: in layer "Layer 1" unable to draw text; please convert it to a path first. Consider using the Hershey Text extension which is located under the "Render" category of extensions." I tried changing it to a Hershey text extension, save it, and try again. The eggbot pro moves the pen to a 1:30 position and, pretends it is writing (but above the golf ball surface), and then goes back to the start position and repeats the above error message.
